How does the masterbatch compare colors?
The comparison between the color of masterbatch and the color requested by the customer is an important link. Usually, the comparison of samples is based on the production process of customer samples. For example, for products such as blown film, the prepared color is blown into the film, and then the color is compared; for products such as injection molding, the matching color is compared with the injection molding product; for products such as non-woven fabrics and spun yarn, the color is compared by spinning Yarn machine or double rod injection molding machine for comparison; generally speaking, color comparison is performed by simulating the use state, and the color matching is closer to the sample color required by the customer.

Contrast colors should consider the following factors:
1. Light source
Generally, visual inspections are performed under natural light. If conditions permit, standard light source boxes can be used. If the colors of two samples are compared and observed under certain light, they may appear the same due to the phenomenon of "metamerism", but there will be a large color difference under natural light. In practical applications, what kind of light to use will be determined according to the purpose. The same is true in this case.
2. Thickness
When matching colors, try to make the thickness of the sample consistent with the thickness of the customer's sample, because products with different thicknesses give people different feelings. If you cannot make the thickness of the sample consistent with the sample, make a rough guess.
3. Surface condition
Different surfaces have different light reflections. For example, on the same sample, the color of the high-gloss surface and the matt surface are obviously different. On the same sample, the rough surface is relatively smooth, deep and dark. Therefore, when observing this color, try to compare parts with similar surface conditions. For example, when using PVC tape to match colors, due to the different surface conditions (gloss and embossing), the sample should be placed side by side with the sample, and the transparent tape should be attached for comparison or immersed in water. This method is to change the surface state of the sample to the same state, and the material of the sample is different from the material of the color matching plastic. For example, when using the "national standard color card" as the standard color sample for plastic color matching, the ink color matching refers to the "international color card", which is different from plastic materials, which brings certain difficulties to contrast observation.
4. Resin
The color of the same pigment in different resins is different, which is caused by the difference in the natural color and transparency of the resin. Therefore, when matching colors, you should try to use the resin provided by the customer to ensure the accuracy of the color, especially the color matching of modified materials.
5. Wrong color judgment
In the detection process, the problem that is easy to appear is the wrong judgment of color comparison. Misjudgment is caused by lack of experience, which can only be solved by continuous practice and rich experience in peacetime.
